Hi There! I'm Jared Rehnquist

I’m a self-taught VFX artist based in the Chicago area. I’ve been learning 3D for several years now through YouTube videos and online courses. I also have some experience with filmmaking (my award-winning short film I’ll Be There won third prize in the 2019 American Migraine Foundation film contest).

Freelancing

What I use

All of my 3D work is done using the software Blender. I also use most of the apps in the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite for other aspects of the job (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, etc).

Although these are the main tools that I use, my workflow is still bound to expand and evolve as I discover and learn other software programs. Because of this, my list of tools may adjust as time goes on and I learn new things.
